Lois Danielson, 84, of Elkhart, passed away on, October 27, 2022 at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart, surrounded by her loving family.

Lois was born on August 16, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank and Anna (Voska) Bojan.

Her parents, and stepfather, Dr. Emory Lusk, Sr., preceded her in death.

Lois is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Edward Danielson. Her children, David (Rhonda) Lusk, Elisa (Heather) Ross, Kelly (Michael) Danielson, and Adam (Alissa) Danielson; a sister, Linda (Milton) Payne; nieces, Liz (Josh) Payne, Leslie (Bill) Payne and her stepsister, Linda Lusk.

Thirteen grandchildren, Brie, Ashley, Sarah, Ruth, Madeline, Michael, Christian. Caleb, Parker, Maddie, Korbin, Landon, Ella; and three great grandchildren, Camron, Karyn, and Brenna.

Lois was born and raised in Chicago. She graduated from Farragut High School in 1956. She attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Lois loved art, music, and theater. She was a pianist and soprano, and trained under Chicago operatic soprano, Rosa Raisa. She was a huge Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland fan. She also played Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ, at the Bristol Opera House.

Lois moved to Elkhart in the 1960s and worked as a recruiter for Management Services. She loved to spend time gardening, shopping, eating spaghetti, and laughing with family and friends. In the 1980s she met the love of her life, Thomas Danielson. They were married for over 38 wonderful years. She was a devout catholic and long-standing parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

To honor Lois's wishes, cremation was chosen, and there will not be a funeral service.
