ELKHART -- Lois Jane Andersen, 46, of Elkhart, died at 7:31 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 9, 2008) at her home after a brief illness.
She was born April 11, 1962, in Elkhart to George M. and Helen O. (Kissinger) Kline, who survive in Elkhart.
Also
surviving are two daughters, Karen R. (Ryan P.) Phillips of Elkhart and
Kandace N. Andersen of Bristol; three brothers, Larry L. (Andrea) Kline
of Kendallville and Michael R. (Cheryl) Kline and David J. Kline, both
of Elkhart; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory B. Kline, in 1977.
Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at New Testament Bible
Church, 29718 C.R. 18, Elkhart, and one hour prior to funeral services
at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at Little Pine
Cemetery in Goshen.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, assisted with arrangements.
Ms.
Andersen was a 1980 graduate of Elkhart Central High School and spent
most of her life as a home health care professional, caring for the
sick and elderly of the Elkhart area for many years. She also worked at
several area RV plants delivering motor coaches to nearly every state
in the U.S., including Alaska. She was a former owner of Native Tan
tanning salon in Elkhart and a member of New Testament Bible Church.
She
will be remembered for her cooking ability, especially her fried
chicken and homemade salsa; her sense of humor; and her ability to meet
and befriend new people, especially during her travels. She loved to
share her faith with others.
