ELKHART — Lloyd M. Angelo, 94, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, in his residence.
He was born on April 19, 1919, in Jacksonville, Ill., to Floyd and Bertha (Wilmuth) Angelo.
He married Jeanette McCreary on Jan. 22, 1946, in Elkhart. She passed on Feb. 13, 1961.
In addition to his wife and parents, an infant son, Lloyd John Angelo; twin brother Floyd; half-brother William Becktell; and nephew Bill Angelo preceded him in death.
Surviving is a nephew, Bud (Deb) Angelo and close friends and caregivers Nancy (Bill) Berentz.
Lloyd worked with his twin brother, Floyd, at Floyd's Body Shop in Elkhart for 25 years.
He was an U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II.
Graveside services for Lloyd will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, in Rice Cemetery. Chaplin Bob Puhr of Harbor Light Hospice will officiate with military honors by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
Arrangements for Lloyd are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Harbor Light Hospice.
