Lisa Nadine Burkey, 55, formerly of Elkhart, passed away due to stage four breast Cancer and Covid-19 on Friday, January 21, 2022 at her home in California.

Lisa was born on November 10, 1966 in Elkhart to Kenneth and Barbara (Wilson) Burkey.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Barbara; sisters, Rita Burkey-Chute and Lori Burkey-Reynolds; and niece and nephew, Connor and Lindsay Reynolds.

Lisa graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1985. She worked at Big R for many years in Coast Distribution. In August of 2011, she was a warehouse manager at West-Lite Supply Company until her passing. Lisa enjoyed sky diving in her spare time. She will be greatly missed.

Lisa's family would like to thank all of Lisa's West-Lite family for all their love and support over this last year. They were able to give her everything, we were unable to do for her and we are so grateful to each of them.

There will be no services at this time due to Covid-19. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
