Lisa Dawn Sachse-Adkins, 50, of Goshen, went Home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Lisa was born on July 25, 1975 in Elkhart, IN to father, Bill Sachse and mother, Deb (Rowe) Weld.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Bill Sachse and sister, Cherilyn L. “Cheri” Riggs.

Lisa is survived by her children, Kyla Melfi of Elkhart, IN; Jordan (Kaylee) Adkins of Artemas, PA and Jenna Adkins of Syracuse, IN; mother, Deb Weld of Bedford, IN; beloved grandchildren, Quinton, Jackson, Elara, Julian and Charlotte; sister, Sarah (Brent) Houser of Topeka, IN and the many lives that she has touched in her 50 years.

Lisa graduated from Elkhart Central High School, class of 1993. Lisa was a food and drink server at Chik-Fil-A, Applebee’s, Olive Garden, Hacienda and Constant Springs where she enjoyed serving her customers.

She enjoyed being outside in the sun and at the beach. Lisa had a deep appreciation of nature, particularly sunflowers. She attended concerts and music festivals with her family and friends.

She was a free spirit, outgoing and enjoyed conversations with people. She loved her dog, Lucy whom she leaves behind.

Lisa adored being a grandmother, mom and a friend to all and will be greatly missed.

Lisa’s family would like to thank all the friends who have reached out and showed their kindness and generosity during a tragic event.

There will be a private celebration of Lisa’s life to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Alliance Ministry.
