A service will follow at noon with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. Linda will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac, MI immediately after the service.

Linda was the most beautiful and graceful soul on this earth. She loved absolutely everyone in her life and became the adopted grandmother to so many young people in her community. Linda had never met a stranger and worked as a line worker for many years for a local Trailor manufacturer and worked briefly at the local K-Mart.

In her earlier years, she grew up in Michigan where she graduated from Dowagiac Union High School and married John Williams. They raised their children in Michigan and later moved to Elkhart. Her grandchildren were her whole identity and each one of them was the apple of her eye. Linda felt so blessed to be a grandmother and great grandmother to so many children and she was immensely proud of all their accomplishments in life.

Linda was very eclectic in her interests. She absolutely loved country music and the Disney character, “Stitch.” In her spare time, she would often watch some of her favorite shows from Law in Order to the classic Soaps like Day’s of our Lives. Wherever she would go, her cat Piper was never too far behind. Occasionally she would break her routine and enjoy watching the Twilight franchise, she was not ashamed to admit how much she loved those films. To say Linda would be greatly missed is an understatement. She was the light to so many people in her life and her family will forever cherish her memory.

Psalm 23 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
