ELKHART -- Linda J. Taber moved to heaven Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, while at her home. She was born Sept. 3, 1934, to Alpha Van and Linda (Drogmoller) Haven in Elkhart.
She married her loving husband of 58 years, Gene A. Taber, on Aug. 16, 1952, in Angola. He survives with two sons, Gene A. (Linda S.) Taber and Pat M. (Judy L.) Taber; and one daughter, Rhonda L. Aaron, all of Elkhart.; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, with another to arrive in April 2011; and two sisters, Gloria (Lawrence) Hein of Goshen and Shirley Murphy of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by both parents and eight sisters: Iris Haven, Eileen Wenzel, Norma Lambo, Wanda Geroux, Deanie Watson, Mary Lou Mabie, Doris Morse and Jennie White.
Linda's life was complete and full of joy as a wife, mother, homemaker and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, loved a big Christmas and helping others. She loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and shared his love and wisdom with each of us and many others. She will be truly missed.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at noon Wednesday at New Creation Fellowship, 30190 C.R. 10, Granger, where she was a member for many years. Pastor David Klahr will be ministering her going-home service. A luncheon will follow at the church.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
