Linda L. Schott, 64, formerly of Elkhart, passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka.

Linda was born in Elkhart to the late, Charles and Cora (Hawkins) Russell. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dennis and Thomas Russell.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Serena Slater of Bay Town, TX; brother, David (Cindy) Russell of Elkhart and sister, Brenda Kowalczyk of Gulliver Lake, MI.

Linda was a maintenance worker at Patriot Homes for many years. She was a resident of Golden Living Center in Mishawaka. She was a collector and enjoyed watching TV in her spare time. Linda was a hard worker until her illness took hold of her life. She was a giving woman who had a big heart.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Prairie Street Cemetery, 401 W. Hively Rd., Elkhart, IN 46517 with Rev. Paul Gitau officiating. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN is assisting the family.
