ELKHART — Linda Diane Kidder, 68, Elkhart, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1948 in Elkhart to the late Voris and Patricia (Roy) Wetzel.

Surviving are her daughters Jody L. (Carl) Dooley and Trina Barnes of Elkhart; son Eric L. (Brandy) Kidder of Goshen; brother Eric (Robin) Wetzel of Bristol; sisters Becky Clark of Cassopolis, MI; Virginia Wetzel of Bristol: grandchildren Timothy, Timika and Christopher Kidder, Tanisha Roberts, Steven Nolen Jr, Tabria Nolen and Tristan Barnes; along with 21 great grandchildren.

In accordance with Linda's wishes, cremation is to take place and a family hosted memorial service will take place at her childhood home at 1255 Edgewater Blvd in Elkhart on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 from 1 - 3 p.m. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.

While Linda spent most of her life as a homemaker, she worked as a machinist and tool & die maker in Texas in early 80's. She was an avid antique enthusiast, attending garage sales, flea markets and antique booths. She also loved her children and grandchildren dearly and always enjoyed watching Tyler Perry movies with the family.
