Linda A. Hapner, 72, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Greenleaf Health Campus. Linda was born in Canton, Ohio on June 27, 1949 to the late Harley Grover Henson Sr. and Margaret (Walmsley) Henson. She married her best friend and true love Mark C. Hapner on May 29, 1993 in Elkhart. Surviving is her husband of 28 years, Mark C. Hapner; her son, Michael Lee Blair of Waxahachie, TX, and a brother Harley (Janet) Henson Jr of Huntsville, AL., and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Laurie M. Luce.
Linda worked for many years as an executive assistant for many local and national manufacturing companies. She and Mark enjoyed the RV lifestyle, traveling, camping, and meeting many wonderful friends over the years. They were members of the Holiday Rambler RV Club and FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association.) Linda was an active voice and advocate for Multiple Sclerosis, having lived with MS for much of her life. She was Co-Leader of the Elkhart County MS Self-Help Group. Linda was fun and full of life. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
