Leonard L. Peach, 72, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Woodland Manor. Leonard was born on April 15, 1947 in Pittsburg, California to the late James and Evelyn (Miley) Rutledge.

Surviving are his children, April (David) Calloway, Karen (Nathan) King and Heather (Dave Evans) Peach; also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers Patrick (Rosalie) Peach, Joe Rutledge and Steve Rutledge along with his sisters Joyce Dixon and Sally Cancilla and his former wife, Susan Peach. He was preceded in death by his wife and friend,  Beverly Peach.

Leonard served his country in the United States Army from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1973. Leonard worked in the telecommunication industry for DSI Technologies and Beaver Creek Phone Co. flying all around the country building communication towers from the ground up, maintaining them and troubleshooting satellite communication systems.

In honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen; He will be buried with U.S. Army military honors at Willamette National Cemetery, Happy Valley, Oregon. Arrangements for Leonard are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
