Lenamae was a homemaker and loving mom, aunt and especially grandmother, and anything that prompted a visit from the family or grandkids generally made her day. She absolutely adored Christmas and all of the love, excitement and celebration that came with it. She had collected an extensive tabletop Christmas City collection, and when she moved in with her daughter, who had one as well, hours would be spent building holiday avenues and boulevards throughout the living room and house. Rumor had it that their Christmas cities were so large they had to apply for their own zip code!! She also loved animals, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, baking (Christmas cookies, of course), working in her garden and watching "Supernatural" on television. In her earlier years, she owned several horses and loved to ride whenever she could.

Memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of Elkhart County or to the charity of one's choice. Friends are encouraged to log on to Lenamae's obit page on the funeral home's website to leave comments and memories that would be welcomed by the family.
