ELKHART -- Lea Ann Morgan, 68, of Elkhart, died at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 20, 2008, at home after an eight-month battle with cancer.

She was born July 30, 1940, in Indianapolis to John and Helen (Strahn) Jenkins. She married David Morgan in Indianapolis.

He survives in Indianapolis along with one daughter, Kimberly (Todd) Kramer of Elkhart; one son, Roger Freeby of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Jack (Bonnie) Jenkins of Indianapolis, Mike Jenkins of Florida and David (Peggy) Alfano of Milford.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Michael Freeby.

Mrs. Morgan worked as a caregiver for adults in Indianapolis for many years. She was a member of the Goshen Moose Lodge and VFW in Indianapolis. Mrs. Morgan enjoyed reading and ceramics.

There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is assisting with arrangements.
