ELKHART — Larry D. Wood, 63, of Elkhart, passed away following an illness at Elkhart General Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018.

He was born Nov. 27, 1954, in Elkhart, to the late Richard and Alice (Elton) Wood, and is survived by a sister, Debra Giltner;  a brother, Tim (Jennifer) Wood; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and acquaintances from Waterfall Hi-rise as well as relatives in Ohio.

He also had a special relationship with the Seifert family of Seifert Drug Store of Elkhart.

In accordance with his wishes, no services have been scheduled and burial of his cremated remains will take place in Rice Cemetery of Elkhart at a later date.

Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was a delivery and maintenance person for Seifert Drug Store for many years and also did private work for the family as well.

Memorial donations may be given to the charity of one's choice.
