ELKHART — Larry David Williams, 63, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 23, 1952, in Mishawaka..
He is survived by his mother, Frances Williams of Florence, Ala.; wife Marcia of Elkhart; one daughter, Carla Stanfill of Winamac; one stepdaughter, Melissa Whybrew of Elkhart; siblings Tommy and Tammy Stricklin, both of Savannah, Tenn.; and four grandsons, Ethan Stanfill and Cyle, Jacob and Brandon Whybrew.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Carl Williams; biological mother, Bea Stricklin; daughter Tonia Williams; brother Jerry Williams; sister Debbie Williams; and stepson Shawn Mutchler.
He was employed as a laborer in steel manufacturing.
Larry loved sports, especially Alabama football. His other interests were riding his Harley and listening to ZZ Top. ROLL TIDE!!
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
Graveside services will be at a later date at Williams Chapel Cemetery in Florence, Ala.
