GOSHEN -- Larry Joe Beadle, 71, of Goshen, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Goshen General Hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1939, in Jasonville to the late Harry Wilford and Elizabeth Marie (Bose) Beadle. On July 11, 1960, he married Connie Marlene (Baer) Beadle in Elkhart. She survives.
Other survivors include daughter Monica Beadle Cummings of Elkhart; two stepdaughters, Angela (Bill) Bohine and Dani Jerez, both of Elkhart; stepson Todd (Nancy) Witt of Elkhart; sister Margie (Gary) Nisley of Goshen; three granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Winnifred Beadle.
Larry was employed as a design engineer with Pierce Tool and Die, Creation Window and most recently, Hehr International Inc.
In addition to spending time with his family, Larry enjoyed working on his computer, golfing, karaoke, watching Notre Dame sports and the Chicago Bears.
A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Celebration of Life Service on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Radiant Life Church, 2936 Lillian Ave., Elkhart. Pastor Bob White will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
