ELKHART — L. Paul Miller, 78, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at his home.
He was born Sept. 7, 1933, to Daniel J. and Ruth (Kime) Miller in Dunlap.
On April 14, 1957, he married Mary Ellen (Hostetler) Miller. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jerald S. Miller of Northbrook, Ill.; daughter Melody (Shawn) Weeks of Danville, Va.; and three granddaughters, Rebecca, Jennifer and Laura Weeks, all of Danville
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul was a 1951 graduate of Concord High School and later received an associate degree in accounting from International College in Fort Wayne in 1959.
Paul was employed as an accountant for many years with several local companies. After retirement, he enjoyed working as a greeter at Sam's Club in Goshen for many years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Elkhart.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, June 22, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, June 23, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Elkhart, 53953 C.R. 17, Bristol. Pastor John Blodgett will officiate. Interment will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
