ELKHART -- Kyle Lee Eaton, 72, of Elkhart, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Elkhart after battling cancer for several years.
He was born April 11, 1939, in Elkhart to the late Kenneth and Ruby (Barkes) Eaton.
Surviving are four sons, Rodney L. (Regina) Eaton of Clarkston, Mich., Kyle A. (Tammy) Eaton of Washington, D.C., Timothy M. Eaton of South Bend and Tony W. (Jan) Eaton of Elkhart; a daughter, Tiffany (Jermaine) Spencer of Indianapolis; a twin brother, Kenneth (Ann) Eaton of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; and Carolyn L. (Cataldo) Eaton Grahn of Goshen, his former spouse and mother of the children.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, where the funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
Kyle worked as a construction worker with Wright Construction of Elkhart for over 25 years. He was also an avid golfer.
Memorial donations may be made to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
