OSCEOLA — Kimberly Ann Warr, 59, of Osceola, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, April 22, 2012, at her home after a brief illness.
Kim was born March 8, 1953, in Elkhart to Philip G. and the late Donna (Farr) Lux.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Jan Lux; longtime companion Michael Rider; sons Philip J. Warr and Steven B. Warr; grandchildren Coldin, Cam'ron and Olivia; a sister, Sharon (Clint) Emerson of Elkhart; brother David (Sue) Lux of North Augusta, S.C.; and stepsisters Carol (Wes) Lauster of Warsaw and Carla (Jim) Holmes of Mattawan, Mich. Several nieces and nephews survive as well.
Kim enjoyed her pets, gardening, cooking and had a deep love of the outdoors and being with her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Concord High School. In recent years, she was a clerk at Charlie's in Osceola, where she developed many close friendships with her regular customers who sent flowers and visited her during her illness.
Family and friends will be received Friday, April 27, 2012, from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Father Daniel Repp of St. John's Episcopal Church will officiate. Private burial will follow.
