Kerry Dwight Rummel, 77, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Elkhart, IN passed away on November 15, 2024 in Ocala, FL.

Kerry was born on January 16, 1947 in Elkhart, IN to the late, Gladys (Rummel) Rice.

Kerry married the love of his life, Debra (Paulson) Rummel. Kerry and Deb were together for 38 years and married for 29 years.  Deb passed away on September 11, 2021.

Kerry is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Anthony) Savick of Hampton, VA; grandchildren, Aubrianna and Alexander Savick and many cousins.

Kerry honorably served his country in the US Army. He worked at Hummer for many years. Kerry was also a huge animal lover. In his spare time, he enjoyed gaming and Notre Dame Football. Kerry was the most kind-hearted person whom had a bleeding heart for life.

In accordance with Kerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 from 11:30 am until 1:30  pm, followed by a procession to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bristol where burial and committal of his cremated remains will take place.
