He was born June 23, 1951, in Wichita, Kan., to Glenn and Mary Larson. On Jan. 17, 1990, he married Penny Bender.

She survives, along with one son, Chad Larson of Kansas; two daughters, Ginger (Brian) Hartman of Niles, Mich., and Trina (Dewayne) Craft of Bristol; and two grandsons.

Friends may call from 5 until the 7 p.m. Friday memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. The Rev. Keith M. McFarren of Faith United Methodist Church, South Bend, will officiate. Cremation will take place.

Mr. Larson was a truck driver for Kingman Trucking in Mishawaka for many years. He was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge and National Rifle Association, and was an avid Harley rider. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and attending "lodge meetings" with his buddies.
