It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother, grandmother and friend to many, Katrenia Ann Gary, age 58, residing in Elkhart, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at Esther House, Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart. Katrenia was born on October 21, 1966, in Elkhart, to the late Opah McGhee and Catherine G. (Montgomery) Gary.

She leaves to cherish her memory; six children; sons, James L. Gary, Tervarus L. Gary, Marcus J. Gary, Kevin L. Gary; daughters Vanessa M. Gary and Jazmine N. Gary; also surviving are 13 loving grandchildren, whom she adored and her siblings; Parthenia Gary, Darlene Gary, and Vernetta Gary as well as many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Nicy Glynda Gary, Diane Gary and Bobby Jean  Gary.

Katrenia was a homemaker, she enjoyed watching TV, cooking and spending time with her large and extended family. She lived to make people happy. Cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home. Condolences may be made online at www.billingsfuneralhome.com.
