ELKHART — Kathy M. Nicely, 62, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Oct. 9, 1950, in Mishawaka to Calvin and Delores Marie (Belting) Marsh-Wayer.

On May 5, 1967, she married Terrance Allen Nicely Sr. He passed away on April 29, 1972.

Survivors include three sons, Terrance Nicely Jr., Edward (Diana) Nicely and Stevie Gwinn, all of Elkhart; daughter Tina (James) Nicely of Elkhart; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Edward Wayer; and a grandson, Michael Nicely-Paulson.

A gathering of family and friends will be for two hours prior to the 7 p.m. celebration of life services Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at New Hope United Methodist Church, 28765 C.R. 4, Elkhart. Pastor Lee Campbell will officiate. Cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services.

Memorial contributions may be made to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
