ELKHART -- Kathy Lynn Hochstetler, 37, of Elkhart, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday (July 4, 2010) after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 31, 1972, in Elkhart, to Dennis and Linda Lou (Skegerberg) Kilian. They survive. On Oct. 15, 2005, she married Jerry C. Hochstetler Sr. in Elkhart. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Joshua E. Kilian, Ransley K. Barnes and Rozzie G. Barnes, all of Elkhart; stepson Jerry C. Hochstetler Jr. of Elkhart; two stepdaughters, Colleen R. Hochstetler of Elkhart and Brandy S. Elliott of Goshen; two brothers, Lonnie L. Kilian and Andy Kindig, both of Elkhart; sister Brenda Meguire of Elkhart; six stepgrandsons; and two stepgranddaughters.

Cremation has been scheduled and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is assisting the family with arrangements.
