ELKHART — Kathryn D. "Kitty" Koth, 59, of Elkhart, passed away early Monday morning, April 2, 2012, at Elkhart Hospice House. She was born Dec. 30, 1952, in Elkhart, to Robert E. and Ida M. (Irwin) Elmore.
On July 3, 1993, she married Richard E. Koth in Elkhart. He survives at home.
Other survivors include four sons, Frank (Meghan) Miller of Mishawaka, Karl (April) Miller of Goshen, Fred Miller of Elkhart and Kirk (Jennifer) Miller of Granger; sister Barbara (Glenn) Wilson of Cullman, Ala.; brother Robert Elmore of Coral Springs, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Marlin Elmore and a nephew, Terry Elmore.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, April 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bowly's Crystal Bar, 109 Freight St., Elkhart. A private graveside service has taken place at Prairie Street Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Elkhart County or the Center for Hospice Care.
