JONES, Mich. -- Kathleen F. Drumm, 54, of Jones, died at 1:18 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 16, 2008) in her home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born Sept. 4, 1954, in Elkhart, Ind., to Oliver and Frances (Lee) Vance. On June 17, 1973, she married Terry A. Drumm in Osceola, Ind.

He survives along with two sons, Josh (Natalie) Drumm of Foley, Ala., and Jake (Jennifer) Drumm of Johnson City, Tenn.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Cody (Lenee) Vance of Union and Randell Vance of Constantine; three sisters, Bertie (Ewell) Cora and Connie McCaskill, both of Elkhart, and her twin, Catherine (Bob) Hughes of Osceola; and her mother of Constantine.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Susan Vance.

Mrs. Drumm was a 1972 graduate of Elkhart High School. She worked at Bayer Corp. for many years on different lines. In 2004 she retired from the Mishawaka plant because of her health.

Mrs. Drumm enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Friends may call two hours prior to the celebration of live service at noon Saturday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Retired Pastor Lloyd Montgomery of Diamond Cove Missionary Church in Cassopolis will officiate. Graveside services will follow at East Union Cemetery, Union.
