ELKHART: Kathleen M. Albrecht, 77, of Elkhart, passed away Friday evening, December 14, at her residence after a brief illness. Kathleen was born on April 15, 1941 in Ashland, Pennsylvania to the late John and Catherine (Lally) Roland. Surviving are her children John P. (Dianna) Albrecht Jr. and Bridget Faus; three grandsons, Tanner Faus, Christopher and Casey Albrecht; a cousin Patricia "Pat" Coleman and her sister-in-law and best friend Joan Hamilton.

Kathleen worked for and retired from Miles Laboratories after 28 years of service.  She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, was an avid Notre Dame, Chicago Bears Fan and loved to visit the area casinos to try her luck.

Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. A parish Rosary will be prayed beginning at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am. with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1405 N. Main St. Elkhart. Rev. Jason Freiburger will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. The family kindly request memorials to the Center for Hospice Care.
