Obituary
GOSHEN — Katherine Helmuth, 85, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Marshall County to Moses and Minnie (Hochstetler) Helmuth.
Survivors include one son, Devon (Deborah) Helmuth of Goshen; two daughters, Cynthia Carrick of Elkhart and Joanna Lay of Goshen; two sisters, Esther (Edwin) Stutzman of Nappanee and Clara Helmuth of Bremen; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Katherine was employed as a commercial seamstress prior to her retirement.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Katherine.
