Obituary
ELKHART — Karen A. Wright, 60, of Elkhart, passed away at her home Sunday, Jan. 31, at 10:35 a.m.
She was born in Elkhart on Aug. 3, 1955, to the late Robert and Georgia (Steffen) Kothe.
Surviving are her daughters Kimberly Fear of Mishawaka and Angiela Wright of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren Aiden, Stephen, Vanessa and Zachary, and her former spouse Frederick Wright of Mishawaka. She is preceded in death by her sister, Diana Schrock.
In accordance with her wishes, Karen is to be cremated and no immediate services or visitation has been planned. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.
Karen worked many years at Elkhart's 7-11 corporate offices until she retired in 2003 due to her health. She attended St. David's Episcopal Church of Elkhart and enjoyed reading, watching movies, shopping, keeping journals and NASCAR. She will also be especially missed by her Chihuahua, Molly.
Memorials may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
