ELKHART —  Karen Jo O'Donovan, 60, of Elkhart, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on Wed., July 25, 2018.

She was born in Goshen on Sept. 21, 1957 to the late Joe Evans and Deloris (Bess) Evans, who survives. On Dec. 10, 1982, she married Liam O'Donovan. He also survives.

Also surviving are sons Bart (Andrea) and Nathan (Candice) O'Donovan; grandchildren Achaius, Esmé, and Sawyer O'Donovan and sister Sharon (Colin) Evans-Bernard. A brother, Burt, precedes her.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation is to take place with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home.

Karen worked at Blacksmith Distributing in Elkhart as a sales associate for many years. She loved to cook; especially at family gatherings and during the holidays, with lasagna and her special meat loaf being among everyone's favorites. She'll be best remembered for her warm smile and love of family and friends.
