Karen was a long-term resident of ADEC, where she had many loving friends and staff who cherished her friendship. She loved to go out on the town, especially if it meant she could go shopping at any store she could. Karen was a member of the Aktion club and enjoyed going on the occasional trip to Dairy Queen for her cheeseburger and chocolate Shake. Music meant a lot to Karen. She loved to sing and would often sing her favorite songs “Jesus loves me” and “Happy Birthday." In her leisure time, she would sit back and listen to classic Christmas music on her record player where she enjoyed the soothing voices of Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of getting to know her.
