Junior Ronaldo Diaz Barrientos, 42, of Elkhart, passed away early Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Noe Albino Diaz Lopes and Maria Elena (Barrientos) Telon in Sayaxche, Peten, Guatemala on September 8, 1977.

Junior is survived by his parents, Noe and Maria; sister, Helen Carina Diaz; brothers, Byron Diaz, William Diaz and Moses Jeremiah Diaz; and his fiancée' Crystal Baltazar. He was preceded in death by a brother Jorge Mario Diaz Barrientos. He was a self-employed contractor.

A funeral service for Junior will be held at Calvary Assembly of God, 1010 E. Mishawaka Rd., Elkhart on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Eugene Steiner of Calvary Assembly of God will officiate. Junior will be returned to his homeland and be buried at El Soyate Cemetery, Oratorio, Santa Rosa, Guatemala.
