She was born Feb. 24, 1942, in LaGrange to James Clark and Clara Edith (Kile) Hart. She married Joe M. Stickler in July 1996 in Elkhart. He died on February 11, 2006.
Mrs. Stickler is survived by three sons, Carl M. (Rena) Jones of Concord, N.H., Andrew C. Thompson of Goshen and Steve (Marcia) Brown of Mishawaka; three daughters, Dee (David) Harper of Bristol, Betty Brown of Osceola and Darlene Ransberger of Florida; two stepdaughters, Marcia (Anothony) Allman and Marsheila Stickler, both of Elkhart; 12 grandchildren; 9 stepgrandchild; one sister, Nettie Hart of Wolcottville; and one brother, Wayne Hart of Nile, Mich.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Leon, James P., Lyman and Lrance Hart; and four sisters, Bernada Kohler, Mary Ann Mann and twins Ledora and Cleora Hart.
Friends may call from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at College Mennonite Church, 1900 S. Main St., Goshen, with the funeral service immediately following at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Claudia Smucker will officiate. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Clearspring Township, LaGrange County. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Stickler had worked at ADEC Industries, Bristol. She enjoyed walking, visiting with family and friends and collecting ceramic cats.
