Julius Frederick Snyder, 79, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday morning, April 16, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital after a brief illness. Julius was born on June 2, 1942 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Marvin and Dora (Hoover) Snyder. In addition to his parents, his brother Devon Snyder preceded him in death in 2020. Surviving is his close friend Frances Dossey of Elkhart and several cousins.

Julius worked at the Soft Touch Car Wash on Johnson Street for 15 years, and then Drive and Shine for 6 years, retiring in 2002. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved to watch them play football. He also enjoyed solving word search puzzles.

Friends may call for 1 hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 memorial service at Billings Funeral Home. 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Pastor Jeremy Sarber will officiate.
