ELKHART - Juliette Catherine Ronzone, 89, of Elkhart, passed away early Friday morning, June 24, 2011, at her home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Elkhart to the late Julius and Teresina (Finamore) Campanello. She married Phillip "Bill" Ronzone on Nov. 20, 1941. They were together for 55 years before Bill passed away on Aug. 11, 1997.
Surviving are her children, Michael P. Ronzone and Mary Morse, both of Elkhart; grandchildren Michele Morse of Elkhart, David Morse, and Phoenix and Raquel Barnes; a great-grandson, Colin Barnes; and sisters Yolanda "Violet" Campanella of Westlake, Ohio and Sandy (Bob) Richardson and Antoinette Spencer, both of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Campanello; and sisters Mary Campanello, Clara Eby, Elizabeth Montagano and Anna Campanello.
Juliette was a loving wife, mother and a special grandma to her grandchildren and the apple of her eye, Colin. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening and reading.
Family and friends may call for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011, Mass of Christian burial at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Glenn Kohrman will officiate, with burial to follow in St. Vincent Cemetery. Juliette requested that Masses be prayed; Mass cards will be available at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home, where condolences may be sent to Juliette's family at www.billingsfuneralhome.com.
