ELKHART -- Judy M. Kiser, 60, of Elkhart, died Saturday (April 4, 2009) at her residence.

Mrs. Kiser was born Oct. 10, 1948, in Wise, Va., to the late James H. and Martha Ann (Bishop) Sproles. She married Kester Ray Kiser on July 3, 1984, in Wise. He died June 14, 2006, in Lebanon, Va.

She is survived by two sons, Darrin Tucker of Elkhart and Travis (Missy) Kiser of Lebanon, Va.; three daughters, Tammy (Jason) Meadows of Kingston, Ohio, Melissa (Eric) Molnar of Elkhart, and Becky (Brian) Sutherland of Council, Va.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Bill, Michael and Jackie Sproles, all of Virginia; and two sisters, Nina Faye Robinson of Rogersville, Tenn., and Thelma Jessie Norton of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and Ed Sproles; and one sister, Betty Shupe.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, collecting angels and watching classic TV shows such as "The Waltons," "M*A*S*H" and "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman."
