Obituary
ELKHART — Judy D. Hill, 53, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne following an illness.
She was born in Elkhart on April 6, 1962, to Samuel Hill of Elkhart and the late Virginia D. (Norment) Hill.
Also surviving are her daughter, Laura Forrest, and her sister, Vicki (William) Ayers.
She was preceded in death by her daughters Amanda Barbour and Christina Sundman, siblings Gary Hill and Marla Ishmael and grandchildren Christian and Tatiana.
A celebration of Judy's life will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 26, at Jimtown Family Church of the Nazarene, 56773 Shore Ave., Elkhart, with visitation starting at 11 a.m. Pastor Victor Burson will officiate. In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is handling the arrangements.
Judy was a server at several restaurants in the Elkhart area for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and children, as well as listening to rock music.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to any local muscular dystrophy association.
