June 1, 1941 - June 9, 2010

GOSHEN -- Judith Ann "Judy" (Wolf) Gerhardstein, 69, of Goshen, passed away on Wednesday afternoon (June 9, 2010).

Judy was born on June 1, 1941, in Elkhart to Charles and Ethel (Plummer) Wolf.

She is survived by her daughters Betsy (Tom) Jacob of Danville, Calif., and Jennifer Bunner and Rob Dockstader of Westerville, Ohio; sister Deanna (Walt) Schult of LaPorte; and her mother, Ethel Wolf of Elkhart.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Wolf.

Judy worked much of her life as an executive secretary but later found her passion in graphic editing and the computer industry. Judy was a native of Elkhart and moved to San Diego, Calif., where she worked for many years until she returned to her hometown.

Judy was a 1959 graduate of Elkhart High School and was very active with her classmates the past 10 years. Judy will be remembered for her many accomplishments and talents throughout her life, but none will surpass her unwavering positive spirit and boundless energy.

Please join with her family and friends as we gather to celebrate her life on Friday (July 16, 2010) at 11 a.m. at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1742 Garden St., Elkhart. The Rev. Amy DeBeck will officiate. A light lunch will follow the service . At her request cremation has taken place, with Billings Funeral Home assisting her family with arrangements.
