Judy J. Bartley, 68, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle on Monday, May 11, 2020.

Judy was born on October 9, 1951 in Elkhart Indiana to Carl and Isabelle "Joan"  Dishong Messimore. She is preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Barbara Ruth Messimore; and sisters, Carla Messimore and Linda Penney.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Victoria "Tori" (Timothy) Hall of Elkhart and Jamie Kentgen of Bristol, IN; grandchildren, Kirstain, Mayceal, Michael and Mekhi; her high school friend, end of life caregiver, Vickie Gonyon of Elkhart; brothers, Mark (Lida) Haskett of Manassas, VA, Dan (Krista) Haskett of Elkhart; sisters, Tina (Otto) Reick and Christina (Bud) Lampert, both of Cassopolis, MI; brother-in-law, Michael Penney of Elkhart; and ex-husband, Craig (Cheryl) Bartley of Elkhart.

Judy has lived in Elkhart most of her life graduating from Elkhart High School in 1970. She worked in the R.V. industry at Green Design and EFP. Judy attended First Brethren Church of Elkhart. She enjoyed playing Super Mario Brothers. Judy collected Beanie Babies, and art-work. She was an avid bowler. She loved to draw, play Bingo and take everyone fishing.

Judy was a spunky women who had a sarcastic sense of humor who will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 16, 2020 at First Brethren Church of Elkhart, 24197 C.R. 16, Elkhart, IN 46516 with a 2 hour visitation from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at the church.
