She was born Oct. 2, 1949, in Elkhart to John and Louise I. (Brandon) Roush.

Ms. Weaver is survived by two daughters, Amy (Randy) Ford of Bristol and Dawn Brown of King City, Calif.; five grandchildren; and her mother of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Dennis Roush.

Friends may call one hour prior to Thursday's 11 a.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main St., Elkhart. The Rev. Phil DeVolder will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Weaver was a 1967 graduate of Elkhart High School and was taking classes at Holy Cross College. She worked at Atlas Chem-Milling, Elkhart, for the past 10 years.

She was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where she was a lector, member of the Daughters of Isabella and Christ Renews His Parish. She was an avid reader who enjoyed writing and doing crossword puzzles.
