Judith "Judi" M. Wilson, 80, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home.

Judi M. Wilson was born on January 24, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late James and Evelyn (Loose) McGuire.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson, whom passed away on November 1, 2005, as well as her daughter, Lori Lynn Meherg.

Judi is survived by her son, Floyd (Sherlyn) Meherg of Elkhart; grandchildren, Lori (Justin) Stebbins, Jami Meherg; Steven Caradea, Samantha (Chris) Scott, George Harting, Jr., and Heather Anderson; 11 great grandchildren; close niece, Joni Helfrich of AZ and nephew, Norm Long of TX.

Judi retired as a court clerk for the Elkhart City Government. She also worked for many years at Emerson Flutes in Elkhart. Judi was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed horseback riding and swimming in her early years. Judi travelled with her family throughout her life, with the highlight being Canada. Her special place was Klinger Lake in Michigan.

Judi was an avid University of Michigan football fan and loved to cheer on her Wolverines with her family (Go Blue!).

Most of all, Judi was a loving and generous woman and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Judi's Life will be held at a late date. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
