Joyce M. Helm, 87, of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Hubbard Hill Living Wisdom Community, where she had lived for the past 2 years.

She was born on December 5, 1936, in Richmond, KY.  On September 3, 1954, she married the late John M. Helm. He passed away in April of 2022 after 67 years together.

Joyce is survived by her children Kate Helm Beans (Charley), Myra Helm Richley (Ken), and her grandchildren Marc and Morgan.

Joyce was a longtime active member of Trinity on Jackson Church and was an active member of PEO, a women's leadership organization.  Before she retired, many remember her as "their favorite" bank teller.

Joyce will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.
