Joseph Daniel Ulery, 79, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2017 while on vacation in Florida at Cornerstone Hospice, Orlando, Florida. Joseph was born on May 24, 1937 in Bristol, the youngest son of the late John W. and Nancy A. (Barnes) Ulery.  In addition to his parents,  brothers, John , James and Jerry Ulery preceded him in death. He married Judith Ann Rose on July 1, 1966. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Judith Ann; daughters, Jennifer Ulery of Indianapolis, Joanna (Kenny) Breeden of Clermont, Fla.; and his loving grandchildren, Haley Rose and Trevor James Breeden. Joe graduated from Elkhart High School and Goshen College, with an AA and BS Bachelors of Science degree.  Joseph retired from the State of Indiana as a building Inspector. He also served in the United States Army Reserve and was a member of the St. Joseph County Restoration Club.  In honoring Joseph's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private graveside service at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol at a later date.
