Obituary
He was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Forest City, Pa., to Joseph and Dorothy (Strukel) Supancik. He married Shirley A. Landis on June 12, 1954, in Elkhart.
She survives, along with one son, Kent (Jill) Supancik of Fishers; one daughter, Kristine Watson of Elkhart; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Friday funeral service at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Phil DeVolder will officiate. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery, Union.
Mr. Supancik formerly was employed at Conn Selmer and retired from United Musical Instruments after a number of years. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, attended drafting school in South Bend and enjoyed Notre Dame, hunting mushrooms and fixing things.
