ELKHART — Joseline A. "Josy" Diaz-Sangines, 23, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born April 16, 1990, in Reynosa, Mexico.
Survivors include her husband, Adrian Diaz of Elkhart; mother Susana Sanchez of Elkhart; father Julio C. Sangines of Elkhart; two daughters, Heidi Diaz-Sangines and Mia Diaz, both of Elkhart; and two sisters, Yahaira Sangines and Yandelhi Sangines, both of Elkhart.
She was a 2008 graduate of Memorial High School. Josy was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was employed at Interlogic Outsourcing Inc. in Elkhart.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be the same day at 6 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main St., Elkhart. The Rev. Matthew Coonan will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery in Elkhart.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
