ELKHART -- Jordan Douglas Fisher, 21, of Elkhart, died at 1:07 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 18, 2009) in his home.
He was born Aug. 12, 1988, in Elkhart to Ronald D. and Tracy L. (Filicicchia) Fisher.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his mother, Tracy L. (Tommy A.) Cohee of Granger; his father, Ronald D. "Ron" (Renata A.) Fisher of Elkhart; three brothers, Jeremy C. Scheidel, Blake A. Fales and Nicholas J. Kleinrichert, all of Elkhart; four sisters, Kala L. and Kendra A. Cohee, Holly M. Cutter and Lesta N. Balsar, all of Elkhart; and his grandparents, Jerry L. and Marge S. Fisher, Phil M. and Judy M. Cohee, Pamela A. Payne and Ted A. Zollinger, all of Elkhart, and Wallace S. and Mary E. Van Hook of Goshen.
Mr. Fisher enjoyed his family and friends, golfing and listening to hip hop. He liked bodybuilding, lifting weights, playing his Xbox and participating in extreme sports like skateboarding. He was an avid animal lover who attended Memorial High School and studied computer technology at Ivy Tech Community College.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Zion Missionary Church, 1135 E. Hively Ave., Elkhart, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Friday funeral service at the church. Pastors Dale Turner and Joe Wenger will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is assisting with arrangements.
