GOSHEN — Jonathan M. Graybill, 34, of Goshen, passed away peacefully at 3:09 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at IU Health Goshen Hospital, following a lifelong illness.

He was born in Goshen on May 14, 1981, to Brent A. and Mary L. (Hess) Graybill. They survive at home in Goshen.

He is also survived by his brother, Alexander S. "Alex" Graybill of Goshen.

Jonathan's grandparents preceded him in death.

In accordance with the family's wishes, no immediate services have been planned. Cremation is scheduled to take place.

Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.

Despite Jonathan's disabilities, his mischievous grin and wry sense of humor were always able to put smiles on the faces of those around him. He had a genuine zest for life, and over the years Jonathan developed a deep appreciation for some of life's simplest things: love, laughter and compassion for others.

Memorials may be given to the Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis.
