Mr. John A. Zemlicka, 91, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully while visiting his son at Woodland Manor Nursing Facility on Sunday, Apr. 7, 2019 at 12:30 pm.

He was born in Ft. Madison, IA on Feb. 12, 1928 to the late John and Agatha Zemlicka and is also preceded in death by his spouses Lee (Stouder) and Patricia (Stellick) Zemlicka.

Surviving is his son, David.

In accordance with his wishes, no services have been planned and cremation is to take place. Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services are assisting the family.

John served in the Army during the Korean War and later spent nearly 22 years with the Elkhart Police Department. He also was a real estate deputy for the Osolo Township Assessor's office for nearly 10 years as well.
