Obituary
ELKHART — John F. Stewart, 50, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Jan. 4, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1965, in Cabin Creek, W.Va., to Henry and Betty (Smith) Stewart.
Survivors include wife Teresa Stewart of Elkhart; daughter Tiffany Lynn Stewart of Elkhart; son Joshua Stewart of Elkhart; brothers Freddie, Timmy, Leonard and Eugene Stewart, all of Elkhart, and Lawrence Stewart of Portland, Ore.; sisters Sundae Lyttaker and Misty Stewart, both of Elkhart; and grandchildren Vincent, Dakota and Chloe Niles, all of Elkhart.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Manley Allen Stewart.
John was employed at La Salle Bristol for 26 years prior to his retirement.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the 5 p.m. celebration of life service on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Robert Geans will officiate.
