Obituary
ELKHART — John Sebu, 87, of Elkhart, having made a decision to make Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior, went to be with his heavenly father Friday, Jan. 2, while at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1927, in Detroit to Iota and Livia Sebu.
Survivors include one daughter, Marla Sebu of Ann Arbor, Mich., and one son, Jon Sebu of Ann Arbor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sophie Sebu.
John proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He later received two bachelor's degrees from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich.
John was employed as a department manager at Parke Davis, which is now Pfizer, and later worked for Whitehall Pharmaceutical prior to his retirement.
A celebration of life service will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of John to Bethel College.
